I took a bunch of photos a while ago of some buddies zipping around a clay oval on two wheels. Wanna see more?

I’d love to get into flat track a little more, even just watching it, but the only track nearby kinda has some stuck up rules* that I don’t care for, plus I don’t really have anyone to go with me. But getting to your question, yes, more of this.

*I understand some of the reasoning for these rules, but it comes off as pretty excluding to non members, and not a small commitment for members. First you have to apply for a membership, which isn’t exactly cheap (IMO), but then you’re forced to work several events, and if you don’t your membership can be revoked, or you pay nearly double to get out of having to work events. If you just want to go out and ride you have to have a member present to “sponsor” you for the day. I get that it’s supposed to be a whole community type thing and everyone pitches in to do their part, but I don’t want to spend $500 for something I wont use all that often. I want to just show up, pay for a day pass and putz around and work on improving my skills (they have enduro and moto-cross areas as well). For something that’s supposed to be a fun spot for enthusiasts it just comes across very exclusive to me.

Sorry for the rant.
